Past Interference by Kathryn R. Blake

When Jerry Douglas asks Elly Benson to marry him, he wants their ceremony to be as close to Valentine's Day as possible. Though Elly tearfully accepts Jerry's proposal without hesitation, as she readies herself for her second wedding, the doubts and misgivings of any new bride-to-be are exacerbated by the abuse she suffered during her first marriage. Though she's lived with Jerry for four months now, and been subject to his discipline more than once, her first husband had been kind and careful with her, too, in the beginning. At least until she vowed to love, honor and obey him. Will they get to their I-dos, or will Elly’s past interfere just when things are going good?

The Perfect Housewife by Etta Stark

Kirsty Beale may be less wild and destructive than she used to be but she's still a long way off from being the perfect housewife. Since moving in with her boyfriend Logan - and spending time with Logan's very traditional family - Kirsty has begun to worry that she isn't the traditional homemaker that Logan would like her to be. Will Valentine’s Day be the perfect opportunity to let Logan enjoy the pleasures of having a perfect old-fashioned wife - if only for one night?

Valentine’s Surprise by Constance Masters
This story was my favorite out of the whole bundle!  I loved the additions to the story that Ms. Masters has created, and this story just kept me on the edge of my seat wondering just how many times Erin was going to get punished, and how exciting the trip was that Zach had planned.
I think this was a great little story to be added to Erin and Zach’s story and I get Ms. Masters 2 thumbs up for packing such a great tale in such a little amount of words!
Roy & Teri’s Accidental Staycation by Kate Richards
I thought that this story was a really cute one, with a large large LARGE dose of suspense and excitement in it.  Ms. Richards had written some parts of the story to where I was so curious about what was going to happen next, and I couldn’t turn the pages quick enough.
I really was glad that we were able to catch up on Roy and Teri because I was a bit curious as to what was going on with them after their last book.
Past Interference by Kathryn R. Blake
I really loved Jerry and Elly’s story when I had read the original story, and this was another one that I was so excited was catch back up with them.  I feel like Ms. Blake did a great job at showing how Elly wasn’t completely able to overcome everything that had happened to her right away.  As strange as that sounds, it makes the story more realistic.
I also loved how there was still a lot of suspense and drama in this story that really made it stand out from the rest of the stories in the bundle.  I give Ms. Blake a huge round of applause for making this story even so much better than the original full-length story.
The Perfect Housewife by Etta Stark
This story to me was the fun one of the bundle.  I loved how light hearted the story was, and the twists that Ms. Stark added on the whole “Perfect Housewife” standard that is out there.  I thought that Logan and Kirsty were still a great couple.
I really enjoyed the chance to read this story in the bundle!  I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a very light hearted read.
Unexpected Surprises by Ruth Staunton
I wasn’t a big fan of Grant and Lainie’s story when I read it, but this novella? I loved.  I thought it was so sweet how Grant was, and how he was trying to do something sweet for Lainie.  And how Lainie still showed that she had a backbone and didn’t want to be told what to do.  So for me, it was more fun following the repercussions that Lainie had to face for what she was doing.
Overall, I loved both characters in this story, and I thought this was a really good addition to the bundle.
Knowing What She Needs by Thianna D.
With how Charmagne and Brent were the first couple in the Corbin’s Bend series, they do have a soft spot in my heart.  I really enjoy this little Valentines short with the two of them, and getting to be part of the surprise that Brent has planned for her.   I thought that Ms. D did a good job at leading up to the “main event” and leaving enough hints that you could pick up on what was going to happen.  But not enough that you could tell right away either.
I did enjoy the chance to get caught up with the couple, and to join them on this special holiday.
