This is book two in the series but you do not need to read
book one to understand what’s going on. I’ve not read book one and I was not
lost at all.
I just love my shifter books! And even though this one talks
about shifters and Kaspar does shift, it’s not the main focus. It’s more about
the relationship between Kaspar and Jon, the mystery of the missing young men.
The cult and its beliefs, the work that Jon is doing, what events led up to
Kaspar leaving his home land, the new Pride and being accepted into it. What I
also loved was the details of the cities, sites and even the food they were
eating. It just made you feel that you are a part of the story not just reading
it. I will go back and read the first one and can’t wait to find out who is next!
