**For the sake of this blog posting, I’m doing the reviews backwards because I did read the books backwards!**

I found this book by total fluke in one of the many facebook groups that I’m in.  To be honest, I just wanted a Christmas type book to read, and even with the disclaimer that I should read the other books first, I passed that up and just read it without reading the other books.  And I do have to say, that after reading this book, it made me go and 1 click the other books in the series!  So be warned that you will be sucked into the world Ms. Roan has created!

This is the first book by Ms. Roan that I have read and she just dragged me into the world she had created and I can’t get enough of it!  I felt like she has a very smooth writing style that was able to draw me in and keep me until the story was done.  Even after it was done, I didn’t want the story to end.  Now, to be honest, I was a bit confused about everything going on because I hadn’t read the other books, but was I so lost that I couldn’t follow along with the story? Nope, I was still able to read and enjoy it!

Overall, I would say that if you haven’t read this series yet by Ms. Roan, then you should really check this one out!

As I stated in my review for the Second Chances Christmas, I read that before this one.  So I had a little bit of an understanding as to what was going to happen in this book.  Did that ruin my enjoyment of the book?  Heck no! I was still so drawn into the world that Ms. Roan has created that I just had to find out more and more about the character’s that she has created.

One thing that I did love about this book was that Ms. Roan has written a story that isn’t at all like the “normal” poly relationship books out there right now.  She focused more on the emotional part of the relationship between the characters as opposed to the sexual one.  Don’t get me wrong, the smuttiness still happened (and it was AWESOME!) but it was done as an “after” for the relationships.

I also loved how each character had their own personalities, which is a great thing especially with how many characters there are in the book.  It was so easy to follow along with everyone you couldn’t help but be invested in the characters.

And the action/suspense that happens? It’s great! I was literally on the edge of my seat at certain parts, yelling at my kindle at others, and I just couldn’t put the book down!

Overall, I can’t get enough of this series and I can’t wait for more from Ms. Roan in the future!
