Ella Jade has been writing for as long as she can remember. As a child, she often had a notebook and pen with her, and now as an adult, the laptop is never far. The plots and dialogue have always played out in her head, but she never knew what to do with them. That all changed when she discovered the eBook industry. She started penning novels at a rapid pace and now she can't be stopped.

Ella resides in New Jersey with her husband and two young boys. When she's not chasing after her kids, she's busy writing, attending PTO meetings, kickboxing, and scrapbooking. She hopes you'll get lost in her words.

My obsession with time travel finally makes it into one of my books.

Writing a paranormal romance was a new and different experience for me. I’ve always enjoyed reading them but up until this point I’ve been primarily a contemporary, erotic fiction author. My latest release, Find Me, broke the mold and allowed be to step out of my writing comfort zone. The novel is still a romance at its core but the paranormal elements create a magical undertone that helped me spin a mystical tale.

I’ve always been intrigued with time travel and when this scene popped into my head a while back I knew I was setting the stage for something supernatural. The idea begged for me to write the tale. This is the opening to the book...

The mystery man moved his hand to Riley’s cheek, gently stroking her face before leaning closer to her. The warmth of his breath caressed her lips. Moving his other hand to her hair, he slipped off the band that secured her ponytail and set her long locks free. Tangling his fingers in her tresses, he guided her to his lips. The prickle from the stubble on his jaw brushed her cheek as he placed a soft kiss at the corner of her mouth just below her bottom lip. His signature...

Her stomach fluttered from the contact. When he drew away from her, she craved more. Staring into his green depths, she tried to memorize every feature of his face right down to the tiny mole just below his left earlobe. There was something familiar about the stranger who began visiting her a few nights ago.

“Find me,” he whispered just before fading away.

Finding him is the easy part. Its figuring out why he came to her in the first place that proves the challenge. I’ve always had a vivid imagination but when I stepped into the supernatural word the possibilities were truly endless. It was as if there were no boundaries as to what I could come up with. The deeper I got into the plot the more the story grew. Paranormal is definitely a genre I’ll be exploring more in the future.
