This story felt very predictable to
me from the very first page. But I hung in there because the writing itself
wasn't bad, it just needed some spice to it. I have no problem with it being a
novella as it was a quick read and that's nice sometimes.
Lille is content in her life with
her going no where engagement until her friend has someone break into her shop,
a high end erotic shop. So she breaks up with her fiance and goes to help her
friend. Only to find that her friend has a nice looking neighbor that her
friend (and her boyfriend) expect Lille to hookup with soon. And they do. There
is a long, hot sex scene between our main characters which is then followed
with the expected reactions.
While there was much promise here,
there was just something missing. Lille fell flat emotionally quite a few times
for me, but I think this book may have been more of the backstory and set up
for the upcoming part of the story (or I hope so anyway).
