Don't Bite the Bridesmaid, By Tiffany Allee

Alice Shepard needs one thing: a date for her sister's wedding. And not just any date. A hunk who will make her fiancé rue the day he left her for her best friend. Her drop-dead gorgeous neighbor fits the bill—even if he is a bit quirky and never comes out during the day—and Alice has downed just enough appletinis to ask him. But she makes it quite clear that there will be no funny business.
Spending a week on a cruise ship full of humans while sleeping close to his sexy next-door neighbor sounds like a helluva bad idea to vampire Noah Thorpe. But his friends need time to get him out of a shotgun wedding—a vampire bonding that will tie his fate to a female vampire he's never met. And Alice's offer comes at just the right time.
What could possibly go wrong?
When I started reading this book, right away I had a small issue with Alice’s character because she needed the “liquid courage” to go talk to Noah.  I do understand how it could be stressful to talk to someone who you think is completely hot, but right off the bat, that caused an issue with me.  Another issue that I had with Alice’s character was how weak she was portrayed.  When she seen her ex on the cruise again, she didn’t have the courage to stand up to him until the very end of the book.

Noah’s character, I did enjoy the twist that the vampires had in this story.  I won’t give it away but I thought that was a nice change to the typical vampires.  His character was written in a way that I wasn’t sure how I felt about him at first, and it wasn’t until the end of the book that I did like him.

The relationship between both Alice and Noah was very interesting to say that least.  The sex scenes were well written, and you could almost feel the passion between the two of them.  I did enjoy the twist with Alice that was brought up in the book.  That was a great thing to add, and it made the book more interesting to see how things were being kept hidden.

With this being the first title that I have read written by Tiffany Allee, I will try her again and see what else she has up her sleeves.
