                After I read this line from CD Reiss’s new release, Burn, it showed to me that just because we read erotica type books, doesn’t mean that there isn’t more to the books than just the sex.  These sentences alone prove that point.  I have been a fan of CD since she had contacted me to read and review the first book in her Songs of Submission Series, and I couldn’t wait for this book to be released.

                With the way that Jonathan and Monica had ended things the last time, I couldn’t imagine what would happen next in their story.  I was not let down at all!  There were some parts of this book where I was completely caught off guard, but other parts where I could almost see what was going to happen next.

                The different characters, it seems as more of the story comes out, their real personalities come out to play.  Some of the characters you could understand what they are going through, others you just want to beat over the head with a baseball bat.  Ok so that might be overboard, but it’s how I feel about one of the characters!

                This book completely lived up to my expectations for this series and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for us.  Especially after that cliffhanger at the end! (Oh my gosh she’s so mean!)
