The Love Deception, By Jennifer St George

When Felicity Carter wakes up naked in a strange bed, she has no idea how she got there. And no recollection of meeting the gorgeous man calmly offering her breakfast. Shocked and embarrassed, Felicity flees – hoping that their paths never cross again.

The last thing she expects is to discover that her mystery man is Damon Fullbright, partner at the law firm where Felicity has just started work – and her new boss! Damon is appalled to find the young woman he rescued has been hired to work on his team. Apart from anything else, he doesn't need the distraction.

Despite their early misconceptions, their appreciation for each other – both personally and professionally – begins to grow. But when Damon discovers what Felicity's been hiding, how will he ever trust her again?

My Review:
If something happened to my dad, I would do anything that I could in order to make it correct.  That is what happened with Felicity, her father was falsely accused of a crime and she gave up her dream to help free him.

Felicity’s character is written very well in some degrees, but I feel as though in other parts she was lacking.  You could tell the love and determination that she has to help her father, but besides that, you don’t really learn that much about her.  You don’t get to see any other side of her either.  With her, it seems as though all she cares about is her family and she is putting herself aside.

Damon’s character was written very well on all aspects, in my opinion.  The love that he has for his children, his job, and even giving back to the community is shown in his actions and his words throughout the whole book.  The only issue that I had with his character is how easily he forgave Felicity for lying to him.

Though the book was predictable, it was still well written.  I would recommend this book to my friends who like gentle romances, with just a little beat of steamy.

This book is currently NOT listed on Amazon.  When it is, I will
