If you
follow my reviews, you can realize that one type of book that I just love is
the type where the first loves find each other again. Thankfully this is one of those books. And I was completely happy with this book on
many different levels!
While this
book has aspects about it that can be found in other books, there are many
things about it that make this book stand on its own. The different characters were just amazing
and were able to play off of each other’s emotions and personalities very very
well. I couldn’t believe how such a
large group of people would be able to work so well together, but in this book
it is possible.
Izzy’s
character showed a large amount of strength during this book. There is only one thing that I would change
and that is I wish we could have found out more on the “time period” that she
went through. It seemed like the story
just jumped straight ahead without showing too much of that part. To me, that was a very important part of her
life. But that could just be me!
Axel,
oh Axel, I want you to come home with me.
Seriously I do. His character
shows amazing strength and understanding throughout the whole book. Granted he has his temper tantrums, which are
hilarious to me, but he still shows that he cares about everyone who is around
him.
Although
I do always say that I don’t like series, with the way that this one started
out, you can count on me being there to get the rest of the books in this
series! This is a solid 4.5 paws from
me!
