My Review:

                While the good girl meets bad boy books are very popular right now, there comes a point where you want to read something different.  Not necessarily a different genre, but you are left wanting for something else to happen in the books.  Something that can make that book stand out from all the rest.

                The characters in this book were done extremely well, in my opinion.  Eaven seemed like the type of girl that would look at the glass half full.  She wants to help everyone that she can see is in pain, wants to help make them feel better.  When she meets Talon, she can tell that he has his darkness that he is fighting.  But aside from that, there wasn’t that much that stood out from her character.

                Talon’s character seemed like the typical bad boy of rock and roll.  Sure he had his past that came back to haunt him, and that he couldn’t seem to be able to let go of, but he was in a band.  When he met Eaven, he knew right away she was different than the other girls.  I just wish he would have held onto his “secret” a little bit longer.  It seemed as though they rushed into their relationship to where they were both telling each other everything about their pasts.

                Sadly, the characters that did catch my attention were Ivy and Taron.  They both seemed to take over the “show” whenever one of them was talking in the different parts of the book.  I am really excited that they will have their own book coming out in the future and I can’t wait to see what they will be getting into.
