A Marrying Man, By Sandrine Gasq-Dion

**This book contains Male on Male Relations**

It’s been almost a year since a disastrous bet dropped Blaine McKlintock and his best friend, Kent Samson in hot water. Now, Kent is getting ready to propose to Terry Barron. Blaine couldn’t be happier for his best friend, but when Kent asks Blaine to plan the wedding, Blaine is thrown for a loop, especially when Kent drops another bomb. Spencer Cassidy will be helping. Blaine remembers Spencer very well, but the former Wall Street force doesn’t seem to remember him. Blaine’s changed a lot since the bet, but will Spencer see it too?

While I haven't read the first book in this series, A Betting Man, I was still able to follow along with this story very easily. The characters that are in this book were first introduced in A Betting Man, but there was enough information about them during the course of this book that I was still able to follow along with the story.

Blaine seemed like a typical guy. Ready to take on the world, but also afraid of what would happen if he did. He has a crush on Spencer, but is sure that Spencer doesn't share the same feelings. Blaine is a very caring and compassionate friend, he is willing to do something that puts him in an uncomfortable position for his friends.

Spencer, I still have mixed emotions about him. Even after finishing reading the story, I just have a feeling that he doesn't care about Blaine as much as he says that he does. That might just be because I really like Blaine and Spencer is stealing him from me, but taking that out of the factor, he shows how much his friends mean to him by helping plan the wedding.

Watching the dance between Spencer and Blaine was interesting to see. Seeing them go back and forth between their emotions and their desires because neither is sure about what the other character wants. The story is a great one overall, it has parts that made me laugh and giggle, and parts that kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen next!

If you enjoy reading this genre, this is a must read for you!
