This is a story about Flynn. At the height of his fame he just feels lost. Until one night he goes out on stage and is mesmerized by a pair brown eyes. He sings his heart out for that anonymous fan, and that is a turning point for him. He quits the womanizing (for the most part) and the boozing and drugging and decides that he needs to work towards a better and more fulfilling life for himself. He's awesome. He's sexy, sweet, knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go for it. Did I mention, he's sexy? Rawr.
Tessa is a photographer, and she's hired by Flynn's band, The Renegade Saints, to take pictures for their farewell tour. Tessa and Flynn have an instant and undeniable connection. I love reading about these kinds of things. They instantly just have a feeling about each other and spend some times trying to explore what that connection means. There are misunderstandings, a few hardships, but in the end it turns out as it should.
This book is the perfect combination of erotic and contemporary romance. It's not a wall-to-wall bone-a-thon, but it's hot in all the right places and right ways. And what really makes the difference for me is that it's actually well written, which can be tough to find in this genre. If you haven't read her other books, what are you waiting for? They are all just as awesome as this one! Can't wait for the next book in this series! 4 Stars!
