Salem Keats has a plan.
Finish her studies at Loyola as quickly as possible, prove to the
Louisiana Child Custody Division that she has what it takes to care for
her twin siblings Jasper and Margaret, and envelope herself in the
strains of music that she creates with her violin. Then her lawyer
delivers a 1, 2 punch by telling her that it would be best if she could
show the judge that she is in a stable relationship.
Wyatt Crane has watched the girl who lives across the street for two years. When Salem gave him the cold-shoulder her first day in the neighborhood, he thought that would be enough to put him off her.
