Hard-Ass Christmas by S.C. Wynne

Senior Financial Analyst, Taylor Williams survived the embezzling scare at his firm, Peterton Financial, with the help of the gorgeous new Regional Manager, Phillip Daniels. Although Phillip suspected Taylor at first, their undeniable chemistry soon cut through those unfounded suspicions.

Now the two of them have embarked on a passionate sexual relationship during the holiday break. Holidays should be relaxing and stress free, but when you throw in ex-boyfriends, snow storms and bears, things get a little messy and you might need to be a hard-ass just to get through them.

If you haven’t read the first book, then you will be sorta confused when it comes to this story.  This story starts out with a complete bang, which you will understand once you start reading it.
I’m a sucker for Christmas stories and I think that this story was done very well.  There was enough drama, action and suspense happening that it kept me turning the pages.  And I was left wondering what was going to happen next.
The last part of the book really got to me, I was on the edge of my seat.  It felt like I couldn’t read the pages quick enough because I was dying to know what was going to happen next.  The author wrote that part amazingly well, everything was done in such great detail you could almost see it all happening in front of you.
This was a really quick read, but it was also a very good one.  And if you enjoy smutty filled Christmas stories, than this is one for you to check out!

I suggest reading book one, Hard Ass Is Here first as it gives a better understanding of the characters Taylor Williams and Phillip Daniels. It will also explain the complexities and struggles that faced these men.

Senior Financial Analyst, Taylor Williams has just survived an embezzling scare at his firm Peterton Financial with the great help of the beautiful Regional Manager, Phillip Daniels. The story picks ups right after the first book ends and Taylor and Phillip are on their way for a Christmas getaway to Phillips mountain cabin. You would think a nice holiday in the mountains would be stress free but when you add in former boyfriends, snow storms and bears, yes bears, things can make for a very complicated time.

Before the guys leave on their holidays together, Gary comes back and causes some major problems for the guys. The actual emphasis of this love story is really focused on Taylor and Phillip as they are trying to work on their commitment and very new relationship. There are trust issues that have not been resolved from book one and they need to work on these in order to move ahead as a couple. We do learn a lot more about Taylors’ past once Phillip can pull him out of his protective shell.

This novel has more extremely hot wild sex scenes and of course they still have that fun back and forth comedy banter which I just loved in the first book. I was hoping the author was going to bring that funny part of their relationship to this book. I did find it frustrating when at times when Taylor was very reluctant to answer Phillips very normal relationship questions as he was trying to get to know Taylor more. I found myself saying, come on Taylor just open up as this man loves you. I have been rooting for these guys to get it right from the beginning!

Will they be able to overcome their commitment and trust issues? Will outside forces pull them apart or will they themselves be able to find love in each other? Will they make it as a couple? I recommend Hard Ass Christmas if you love reading about wild sex and love between two hot men!
