MA Chuch Spotlight!

M.A. Church lives in the southern United States and spent many years in the elementary education sector. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have two children. Her hobbies are gardening, walking, attending flea markets, watching professional football, racing, and spending time with her family on the lake.
But her most beloved hobby is reading. From an early age, she can remember hunting for books at the library. Later nonhuman and science fiction genres captured her attention and drew her into the worlds the authors had created. But always at the back of her mind was the thought that one day, when the kids were older and she had more time, she would write a book.
By sheer chance she stumbled across a gay male romance story on the web and was hooked. A new world opened up and she fell in love. Thus the journey started. When not writing or researching, she enjoys reading the latest erotic and mainstream romance novels.

You're kidnapped by a paranormal creature. What kind would you prefer and why?
Most people probably think of vampires and werewolves when they think of paranormal creatures. There’s an air of danger, of mystery, that surrounds them. The proverbial bad boys who stalk the night looking for prey. And the sexual vibe they give off? *shivers* Oh my God, that vibe just demands their victims fall at their feet, lol… and hope for the best. What is it about Mr. Tall, Dark, and Sexy that gets to us, lol?
And of course, with any bad boy, there are those that want to redeem them.
I get that, I totally do. *laugh* But the first question that came out of my mouth was… Do aliens fall in that category? Crystal, bless her, said yes. *grin* Now we’re talkin’. While I’ve written vamps and weres, my first love are aliens. Oh yes, aliens. And not just any aliens. Oh no, these aliens are very special. They have long hair that falls past their assesand believe me when I tell you that their hair is specialand oval-shaped eyes. The irises are usually a golden yellow with slit-like pupils—like cat eyes. But sometimes the color is a lime green.
The aliens are tall, usually over six and a half foot, and their bodies are well-defined, sculpted, and toned to perfection—a sensual work of art. Their facial features are humanoid, though. From what I’ve seen since I started writing them, each alien has small pointed ears set atop their heads and a tail that reaches to the floor. And make no mistake, they have the killer instinct too. They’re not afraid to take what they want. But is that the best way?
Meet the Tah’Narians. Originally, the Tah’Narians were an intersexed warrior race. Chemical warfare essentially rendered them sterile. They came to Earth and ‘harvested’ young men for DNA. There’s a story there, but I’m not going into it. But it sounds scary, yes? And it is. Can you imagine the fear, the anger, as you’re taken from friends, family… from all that you’ve known?
But like anything else, there are two sides to a story and nothing is as clear-cut as it seems. There’s always that gray area. Under that bad boy persona there’s usually something that drives him, right? And my aliens aren’t the bastards they first appear to be. Once you get beyond the politics and fear of what they are, you see males with kind hearts and the capacity to love beyond measure. You see their internal struggles and their doubts. It’s the one thing all the aliens have in common… their overwhelming love for their mates. They aren’t perfect. What species is? And they definitely have many things to learn.
*grin* Who wouldn’t want someone who would do anything to make you happy? To have a love that crosses Time and Spacea lover who’ll show you the stars. So my answer to who I’d like to kidnap me and why? A Tah’Narian.
Thanks for having me, Crystal. :)

To celebrate his decision to take the next step with his boyfriend Ian, Toshi Baylor plans a romantic evening at their favorite steak house. Toshi starts the special weekend with a bang by surprising Ian at home with lunch. There’s a bang all right, but it’s between Ian and another guy.

Jase Taylor’s auto repair shop and the BDSM club, Wrapped Up, keep him busy while he waits for Mr. Right, instead of Mr. Right Now. He’s a Dom, but playing with the club’s submissives isn’t providing the usual stress release. After a day from hell, he deserves a good meal at his favorite steak house.

Toshi and Jase find a mix-up with their reservations: a table for Baylor, not Taylor. When Toshi invites Jase to dine with him, they discover a mutual affection for leather and a shared belief that trust must be earned.

Before they can explore their common interests, Toshi suffers a series of attacks by vandals. Jase’s protective instincts kick in, but both wonder if it can lead to anything permanent.

As a small child Shawn stood at his bedroom window staring above the tree line watching the odd shooting lights in the nighttime sky. Remembering his mom’s comment about making a wish upon a shooting star Shawn—there in the dead of night—made a wish.
