Angel Falling by Audrey Carlan

Aspen Reynolds has it all. Wealth, beauty, and a spot on the Forbes Top Ten Most Successful Women list. From the outside, she is perfect. Looks and status can be deceiving. All her life she has fought being the socialite her family has raised her to be. Now at twenty-eight she’s at the top of her game, lacking the one thing she didn’t know she’d ever want.

Accidents happen and lives are changed when Aspen is almost killed. Hank Jensen, the man who saves her, is a hard-working country boy from Texas. Hank is the polar opposite of the rich city boys she’s used to. He’s rugged, gritty, devastatingly handsome, and makes it clear that he wants her in his life and his bed.

Can two people from different worlds find a happily ever after?

Warning: This book is designed for audiences 18+ due to language and graphic sexual content. This novel will be part of a three part series but is written as a standalone between this particular couple. The other two books in the series will focus on different characters with snippets of past couples as the stories move along.

Oh, holy alpha cowboy hotness, Batman!  I live in the boonies, and let me just say, I never run into men like Hank Jensen.  Yummy.  Alpha male goodness at its finest.
Aspen Reynolds appears to have it all.  She successful, rich, talented and making a name for herself.  She’s been groomed from a young age to be who she is, to be the perfect daughter from a perfect family.  And she is that…but there’s something missing.  When an accident alters the course of Aspen’s life, it changes everything.  Enter Hank Jensen, rough and tumble country boy who is also her savior in more ways than one.  He wants her in his bed (rawr!) and in his life and he makes that clear.  But he’s so different than the men she’s used to.  Can two people with seemingly so much difference between them find true happiness together?
Oh my…this was a steamy read.  I mean, it’s has a graphic sexual content warning.  When those warnings are carried through, and carried through well, in a book, it accounts for at least 3 of the stars I give it.  Yee-haw!  Ride that cowboy.
I really liked the characters in this book.  Aspen is a great leading lady.  She’s classy and smart and in control, and she doesn’t just surrender it all up to Hank either once he enters the pictures.  So many times in these books you have a strong female heroine who gives up all her strength to the alpha male once he enters the picture. Aspen manages to still be true to herself and see if Hank can truly fit into her life.  I liked that.  And Hank…well, he’s awesome. He’s sweet and loving, but doesn’t take crap.  He’s strong, but soft when he needs to be.  That’s the best kind of alpha, as far as I’m concerned.  The attraction between him and Aspen is off the charts too.  For these kinds of books to work you have to feel that and if you don’t feel it in this book then you may want to consult a physician because you might be dead.  Seriously.  It’s hot, people.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story.  It’s nothing earth-shattering or even all that original, but it’s done well and I was totally wrapped up in the story and its characters.  4 stars.

Aspen is a successful business woman with everything going for her in New York. That is until an accident happens. Her life changes when she meets Hank, a construction company owner, who saves her life. They couldn't be more different, living in two completely different worlds, but boy when their worlds collide, there is FIREWORKS!!!

We get to watch as Aspen is determined to thank the man who got badly injured to save her, even though he didn't know her. Hank is the good ol' country boy, who gets quite a few shocks seeing things in Aspen's life. Hank is a bit of an alpha male who takes what he wants and although Aspen isn't used to it, she is quite turned on from his take charge manner. In the end even though neither of them were initially looking for that special someone, that's exactly what they found by being who they are.

Good read with hot chemistry. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a hot read about opposites attracting!
