Brian Hay’s only dream
in life was to be part of America’s elite, yet unacknowledged, Delta
Force. After years of training to be the best the 75th Ranger Regiment
had ever produced, his dream was finally coming true. But what starts
out as what he thinks is a Delta hazing op soon turns into much more
when Brian not only becomes a Delta Force soldier but a Mad Dog.

This was a very
interesting read for me personally. I went into it thinking it was one way, and
then I was caught completely off guard with how it ended up turning out. (In a
good way.)
This is the first
book by this author that I have read, but I have to say that I really did enjoy
the writing style and the character descriptions.
The story was
very well written and the twist that we are shown was extremely well done. I
was left with a lot of the “WTF” moments while reading the story. But no matter
how many of those that I had, I just couldn’t turn the pages quick enough
because I wanted to find out what happened next.
The hunt that
happens, out of all the books in this genre that I have read, is by far my
favorite that has happened. Solely because it was well written, described,
everything of the sort.
The only thing
that was confusing to me was the back and forth between the characters real
names, and their nicknames. It was a bit hard for me to remember who was, and
who did what job. Especially with there being 6 such dominate personalities in
the book.
But besides that
I did still enjoy the book and I do think that this was a great first book in a
series because with the way it ended, I really can’t wait to see what happens
next in the story, and with the men.
