Miranda is back … and she’s back with a vengeance. Her sight is set and her target is Tench. Too many people in her life have fallen at the hands of the man who has a strange obsession for with her. Could Miranda be his next victim? She knows how her friend Sally died, but she still doesn’t know why. Could this information be the key to unlock everything the Agency needs to put Tench away forever? Or is an unlikely ally and a piece of her past the answer to it all?
Her heart may be torn with grief, but her head is filled with a burning reprisal. Could Tench’s unhealthy desire for Miranda be her best weapon against him … or will she push him too far?
Wowza…what a great conclusion to an awesome series!
This is the conclusion to the Miranda/Mia saga and what a conclusion.
She has the stuff that can put Joe Tench away forever and is on the cusp of a
happily ever after herself, but you know it’s not going to be that easy. She wants revenge. She wants to finish what
Nick started. But can she protect what
little is left of her heart from the seductive charm of Joe?
Holy trilogy wrap-up, Batman!
That was a pulse-pounding, I have no fingernails left conclusion! I mean, I cried, I laughed, I got the warm
fuzzies…it took me everywhere. Miranda is such a complex character, and being
put in her place throughout this book was astounding. Can you love two men at the same time? Can you separate your head from your
heart? Work from real life? Should you?
I mean, I usually read as an escape and like to imagine myself in the
life of the heroine as I’m reading, but I did not envy Miranda here. It was great to read about, but damn.
As with the previous two books, this book is just written so well that
I could not put it down. I really felt
for the characters, the dialogue was fantastic and the wrap up of the overall
story was one that left me very satisfied.
The epilogue alone was worth reading all three books for.
Overall, I thought this was a wonderful book. You can tell a lot of care and emotion went
into creating this story. I felt that
throughout. 4 stars.
