Cami and Ziporah are
two girls that couldn’t be more different if they tried. They met as
college roommates, forging a friendship that became a lifeline when
tragedy struck.
Now as Cami opens herself to reclaim her sexuality, including the possibility that she is a sexual submissive, her fear of the unknown threatens to keep her chained by the past forever.
Ziporah has always been Cami’s champion, reassurer, her safe place, and she is determined to take this erotic journey side by side with her. What starts out as supporting a friend just may end up showing Z that she and Cami may not be so different after all.
When Evan moved to New York City on business, the last thing he expected was to have two untrained subs on his hands. Each woman appeals to him in different ways. They pull at his emotions with their vulnerability and challenge his Dominance with their spunk and wit. Evan never dreamt that as he taught their bodies to submit, his heart would be brought to submission by theirs.

I enjoyed this book a great deal and fell in love
with the characters. This was the first I have read from this author and
found myself to be very impressed with her style. The characters were well
developed and easy to attach to and I didn’t feel lost as to how the story was
constructed. I really loved the speed in which the author used to develop
this connection between the three main people and didn’t find any place
dragging or what felt like unimportant information. Each chapter built
upon the prior and set us up for the next one. In other words, I didn’t
see any wasted words in this book.
Cami was shy and not sure of herself in
college. Living with her best friend Zip she finally agreed to go on a
date with Mark. That night turned tragic and changed who she was and how
she was going to live her life. After attending therapy for a while her
therapist suggest she look into submission and take back her life and
sexuality. After talking to Zip, who is still in her life and a major
support, they begin to research the role of a submissive and the life style of
BDSM. Cami knew she was a submissive and she could accept she wasn’t a
victim again just because she allows another man to do things to her but she
just wasn’t ready to take that leap into that world.
Zip would do anything to help Cami heal and
reclaim what Mark took from her. As an attorney now she has a successful
career and both of the girls have formed some great friendships. When she
watched Cami be invited to meet a Dom that their mutual friend suggested she
was willing to do anything to get Cami to make this step so she volunteered to
do it with her. Worrying about Cami was something she was willing to do forever
but what she really wanted was for each of them to have their own life. Little
did she know her strong independent spirit could be dominated by the sexy Evan.
Evan was approached by this mutual friend asking
if he would help Cami. After refusing to set her up in order to push Cami
into the BDSM life style he did agree to stop by Cami’s business and meet her.
He maintained his belief that submission was something Cami had to give
freely and even though this friend was pleading and he could tell there was a
story behind Cami, he stood firm to only meet her if she knew he was coming.
Zip gets a chance to see him first at work and finds that she certainly
wouldn’t mind a few hours with Evan so the plan for the three was already
working out. Needless to say Cami also felt an attraction and a sense of safety
with Evan to give this a try.
We watch as Evan dominates Cami’s mind while he
knows he has to dominate Zip’s body. He had to develop two different
approaches for his two women but he was lucky that they came into this as best
friends. Evan wanted to heal Cami and make Zip feel safe to let go of the
control she had in her life. With the aim to show both of the women how
to let go and just enjoy the feelings, he came up with some very unique ways to
please them along with owning their heart.
When the past came back to present itself face to
face with Cami and Zip I was praising the author for not keeping them in the
victim role. We really saw all of the work Cami had been doing come to
the surface and push her to take the final step in reclaiming her life. I
laughed my butt off watching Evan drive the final nail in to the coffin of the
past and eliminate the problem forever. I was impressed with the author’s
creativity in dealing with that matter.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who
loves hot passion with a great deal of compassion and love and a fast flowing
story line. I will certainly be reading more from this author.
