Jaklyn
Marx learned at a young age what pain was at the hands of her father.
For seventeen years she’d lived with the physical scars, and the
knowledge that she was a latent wolf among her pack. But she had extra
abilities. She could connect with others mentally, and had helped free
the goddess Selena and aided to save Tamara, both were bonded to Ravens.
Meeting two men who claimed she was meant to be theirs sent her
running.
Gray
and Colt had been searching for their Fated for thousands of years.
When they saw Jaklyn in Cronus’s temple their first thought was to claim
her then and there. However, she’d run from them. When they found her
next she disappeared, again, only this time they were prepared to do
anything to find her, even call on goddesses.
Just
when the trio find happiness a demon from their past threatens to
destroy them. Jaklyn refuses to allow her father to take anything else,
especially her newfound love for the two men who save her past, present
and future.
Seamus
Marx spent seventeen years in Hell waiting for a way to return to Earth
and extract revenge on those who killed him. He’d make his pack pay for
all his suffering, and then he’d make his daughter suffer twice as bad.
He found a way out when Cronus brought him and a bunch of other demons
through a portal to fight the Ravens, only Seamus was no longer the
god’s puppet.
They
will need more than just love to defeat Seamus and his tainted pack.
They’ll need the help of all the Ravens and a god or two in order to
destroy something Cronus created.
I
went into this book knowing I was not a huge shifter fan nor did I understand a
lot of the elements for a shifter story. I do try to explore genre’s that
don’t appeal to me so I won’t miss a great book on preconceived notions that I
won’t like it. I admit, the beginning of this book left me fearful that I
was in over my head and was going to spend more time convincing myself to
finish it than being able to sit back and just enjoy, but that didn’t last
long. My fear wasn’t from the story, it was from me trying to figure out
what this shifter stuff was all about. The author’s plot alone kept me
engaged and turning pages and soon I was at the end of the book feeling pleasantly
surprised that I really enjoyed a shifter story.
Once
you read the synopsis you get the general idea in regards to what you are
heading into. What the synopsis doesn’t tell you is about the
characters. If I were to describe Jaklyn to one of my friends it would be
a young woman who was dealt a crappy hand in life. A mother who is gone,
an abusive father who blames her for the mother’s disappearance and a family
trait that is not present in Jaklyn that results in her not being accepted by her
own clan. With the missing “tradition” in her life, she is fearful of
anyone from family and the friends of that family to ever accept and love her,
yet there are two men who do. I also gathered that she was seeking out
answers for how her life became so crazy and needed to have those missing
pieces, but before she found them, people started coming back into her world
and it became a mess to navigate through.
Colt
and Grayson, members of the Raven’s and also werewolves, knew that Jaklyn was
their mate from the beginning but they were so overcome with their desire and
attraction to her they missed the signs that she wasn’t a normal clan
member. That didn’t stop them though, they had to find her when she ran
away. Now both of those men gave the story not only a sense of alpha male
protection and love but they were comical and continue to draw me in page by
page. Not to mention they were pretty sexy and knew how to treat a woman,
they also knew how to teach her that the power she felt she was lacking was
inside of her all the time. The love scenes were steamy hot and were written
with more than sex in mind, you were able to see the connection and
relationship grow between the three of them. When danger comes back
and stares Jaklyn in the face, they dedicated their lives to make sure she knew
they would protect her.
I
see that there are two books prior to this one in the “series” but the author
did not write one book dependent on the others. While there is a common
thread throughout the whole series, I found I could read Jaklyn’s Saviors as a
standalone and not be lost due to missing details. She gave us a great
set of strong characters that were easy for me as a non-shifter fan to still
connect with due to the human elements that she included in the story.
Let’s face it, emotions are a universal language and there were plenty of
emotions in this book. The writing style was strong and I didn’t have any
long moments of feeling like the story was dragging. Well-paced, with
enough information to educate the newbie to a shifter story, and packed with
interesting events and drama, I would recommend this book to the
readers.

I’m a wife and mother who is a retired stay at home mom of 2. I say retired because my youngest is 14 and my oldest is 20. When my baby went to school, reading saved my sanity, and then the same year he started school, I was diagnosed with Cancer, again reading saved my sanity. When I recovered and realized how quickly life could change, I made a bucket list. The number one thing was to live. Check. On top of that list was to become a published author. Check. Eight years later I have accomplished that goal and several others.
I live in the Midwest, but am a southern girl with only a slight twang who says y’all quite frequently, and am known to say “Bless Your Heart” A LOT. If you know what that means, you do not want to be the one I say that to, lol. I cuss worse than if a trucker and a sailor were put together, but I do it with class *WEG*.
I write what I love to read, erotic romance. My books are definitely full of lots of story, but I leave nothing to the imagination when it comes to the sex. My hope, is that after my readers have read one of my stories, they fall in love with my characters as much as I have.
The best part of my new journey is that I get to create new worlds and have all kinds of stories in my head just waiting to be written. I’m creating new worlds, and I hope you all enjoy them with me. I can guarantee you’ll always have a hero or two you’ll love, and a heroine you’ll want to be.
I love to hear from readers, you can find me on Twitter or Facebook or my website, but I’m on Facebook all the time, so find me, I’d love to hear from you!
