'Til Death Release Day!

They say there's a fine line between love and hate.

There is.

I married a douchebag.

I didn't know it at the time.

He came in like a handsome stranger and blew me off my feet.

I fell madly in love, like the naive girl I am.

Then he left me high and dry.

Turns out, I was nothing more than a business plan for billionaire playboy, Marcus Tandem.

He needed to be married in order to obtain his grandfathers business, and I was the poor victim in his path.

I believed in what we had, until the truth reared its ugly head.

I never meant anything to Marcus. Not a damned thing.

With my world spinning on its axis, the girl I once was has long since died.

Instead he left me as this empty, emotionless shell.

I may have made a vow before God to love and cherish him ‘Til Death do we part, but it’s time for me to give back to Marcus, exactly what he gave me.

He has to pay.

And pay he will.

This is part of a two book series and it will contain a HEA – Readers over 18+

Well, hell definitely hath no fury as a woman scorned!!!  Holy cow, this was an intense book!
Marcus is a no-nonsense, call it like you see it, unforgiving and calculating man.  He’s worked hard to get where he is, and doesn’t have time for relationships.  Upon the reading of his grandfather’s will, he finds out that in order to inherit his grandfather’s company, which he has been running for the past 10 years, he has to get married and stay married for at least two years. Enter Katia.  While out with her friends one night she runs, literally, into Marcus.  What starts as a one night stand turns into more, or so Katia thinks, and marriage is put on the table.  Katia thinks she is being swept off of her feet.  And while Marcus isn’t a puppies and rainbows kind of guy, she truly thinks that what they have is real.  What she doesn’t know when she marries him is that to him, she is merely a means to an end.  He never loved her.  And when she finds this out…heads will roll.  Namely, Marcus’ head.
Every book I have read by Bella has been very raw and very real.  She really has a way of pulling off gritty, which I think is a hard thing to do.  Her books are readable and intense and really draw you in.  This book was absolutely no exception.  She did it again, and I think she did it even better than the last book I read by her.
I really, really liked Katia.  I think the idea of falling into something blindly and then waking up and realizing that it’s not what you think it’s going to be is the nightmare of a lot of women, and Katia is kind of the embodiment of that.  Even though I found myself thinking in parts that she should have known, I found that I couldn’t fault her for her actions.  And I can’t wait to see how she handles it in the next book.  Even Marcus had some redeeming qualities.
I will warn you, this book ends in a whopper of a cliffhanger!!!  I NEED to get my hands on the next book, immediately.  This is where I find myself wishing that books like this didn’t come in installments, but came out all in one volume, but for the price I don’t think it’s worth complaining about.  Except that I’m dying to know what is going to happen.  4.5 stars.
