**This
book contains M/M romance**
When
an 18 year old makes a decision, it’s usually because of something they
want. When they make the decision to end
their high school relationship, it’s usually to move to something better. What if you make the decision because you’re
afraid that you can’t be what that person needs? And then you spend the rest of your life
wondering if you had made the right choice.
Some people wish that they could go back and change what they did, but
some people are happy with the decision that they had made. Sometimes the chance to make everything right
works out, but other times it doesn’t.
Eve
and Paul were the high school sweethearts, and when Eve left for New York, Paul
made the choice not to follow her. To
help Paul get past his anger and sadness, he had his best friend Danny who
helped him. Danny went to extreme
lengths in order to keep Paul safe, and to show him that he was worth love.
All
Paul wanted was to be different than he was; he didn’t want the love that Danny
was offering him. He wanted to be the “normal”
guy, but no matter what he did, or how he acted, he couldn’t just stop from
taking what Danny was offering him.
When
Eve comes back into Paul’s life, he ignores her because he doesn’t think he
deserves her. However Danny shows Eve
the love that she wants, and also shows Paul that he can have the best of both
worlds. He can have his high school sweetheart,
and his Dom, without having to choose between the two.
This
book was so well written in my opinion, that I couldn’t put it down. I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to
happen next. Yes there is the dark side
of BDSM, and yes there is blood and tears.
But once you get past that, and you read what is actually happening, the
love and trust that is going on, it is such an amazing story. This book also shows you that just because you think you are different because of something you want, it doesn't mean that you are. It shows that the ones you love, if they love you, will be there for you no matter what.
Beyond
Eden is the first book in the Eden Series.
It is currently on sale at Amazon for $7.69 US Dollars. Now I know some of you might not want to
purchase it because of the price, but as many of my friends will tell you, I am
a total cheapskate when it comes to books and I think this book is totally
worth the money.
