Baby Come Back Lite
‘Baby Come Back Lite’ is the final installment in the 'Baby Series
Lite'. This novella follows Trey’s brother Tristan and Ty’s best friend
Gina. It is written from Gina's point of
view, providing insight into her past and secrets that she has shared with no
one.
Unfortunately, events unfold which force Gina to come to terms with unresolved issues from her past that have hindered her ability to love and trust unconditionally. Tristan also has something to share with Gina as their relationship reaches a new level.
This story overlaps with ‘Baby Love Lite’ (book 2) and ‘Be My Baby Lite’
(book 3). It mainly focuses on the
events of Gina and Tristan, but manages to shed light and further clarify Trey
and Ty’s story, wrapping up the series about the Sinclair’s.
This book is intended for mature audiences.
I do have to say when I first started these books I was
unsure if I would even like them.
But after finishing the whole series I do have to say that
these books were completely amazing and a complete must read for me. And one of my complaints is that the title is
misleading. When you see a book that has
LITE the title, you are led to believe the book is going to be short, that
wasn’t the case here. And these books
are quite long and the story told in them could have been made shorter. With each book we’re taking on a new journey
between Trey and Tylar.
We are able to follow the couple from the first day of
meeting to years down the road. While
some of the drama takes place seems too off the wall, you have remember that
this is just a book. These books we’re
able to draw me into the story and I didn’t want to stop reading, even after I
hit the last page.
The author was able to add her own twist on the drama that
takes place in the book; twists that I haven’t read about in a very long time. Which I really liked because I enjoy reading
books that it doesn’t seem like I have read the same book over and over. There were some parts of the books that were
predictable, but overall, I still completely enjoyed reading the books.
Some parts of the series made me want to cry, and other
parts made me laugh out loud. I think
that overall this whole series was extremely well written and I will keep an
eye out on this author to see what else comes from her mind!
