I had really high hopes when I had started reading this
book, to be honest the blurb sold me on the book. But after starting to read it, it felt like I
had to force myself to keep reading. The
writing style just didn’t seem to fit with me I believe.
The characters didn’t set well with me either. It felt like there were times that Blake
didn’t really even want to say what he was saying, but he did. The chemistry between Shadow and Blake as
well didn’t seem realistic. Now I know
this is a book, but you would think there would be something between them.
Overall, I didn’t really enjoy this book. I think I will give the author another shot,
but besides that this wasn’t a good read for me.
