“I will do
anything to make her MINE.” —Remington Tate
In the international bestseller REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the Underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington “Remy” Tate as vital as the air he breathes . . . and now he can’t live without her.
Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman’s dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, Brooke is torn away from the ringside. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls MINE.

Mine. Where should I start with this review? Well, I suppose I
should tell you that if you haven’t read book one Real yet you should do that
prior to reading book two. Mine starts out right where Real ends… and thank
goodness for that because I wouldn’t have wanted to miss a minute of the story
between Remy and Brooke. If it’s even possible the author took an already amazing
story and made it better. I loved Real. It was sexy, angst ridden, with a dash
of mystery, and a whole ton of drama. Mine is a whole ton of sexy, so much
angst tissues are needed, and more drama than I would have ever guessed one
book could have.
The character development is spot on, the author didn’t lose any
of the momentum that she set up in book one. That is a feat that many authors
can’t accomplish. If anything she actually took all of her characters to the
next level… especially Remy and Brooke. Several of the secondary characters
were expanded upon too which was nice, I loved getting to know them better.
*Mild spoiler for BOOK ONE REAL coming, skip to last paragraph if
you haven’t read it yet*
When Mine starts out you are totally excited that Brooke and Remy
have gotten their relationship back on track. They are completely and totally
consumed with each other, maybe even more so than they were in the beginning.
Brooke better understands Remy’s condition and is prepared to be there for him
through good days, speedy days, and black days too. They are determined to make
their relationship work, but for the famous Remington Tate drama is never far
behind. The demons of their past refuse to stay there and Brooke is forced to
deal with the repercussions of writing her Dear Remy letter in ways that she
never expected.

OVER***
Remy is the most alpha of all BBFs and my personal number one. I
can’t get enough of Riptide! He might be a serious ass kicking underground
fighter, but he is also sweet, loving, gentle, loyal to a fault, and sensitive.
There are a whole slew of descriptive words I could use to explain how sexy he
is, but I’m sure you’ve already figured that one out since he is my number one
BBF. Mine gets a full FIVE stars from this book whore. I absolutely cannot wait
to read more from this series. Both Real and Mine are on my very short list of
books to read again.
