Well, I enjoyed this book more than the first one. Kyle really redeemed himself in this one;
he’s firmly on the hot alpha side of the alpha/creepy stalker line in this
book. Hallelujah!
This book pretty much starts right where Beautiful Chances
ended. Kyle helps Lily to go back to
Colorado to confront some of her demons so that she can move on. While there, she discovers some SHOCKING
things (ooohhhh, Lordy, my jaw was on the floor) that breaks her already broken
heart. The question is, can she move
past it all to make a life for herself with Kyle?
I am now firmly a Kyle fan.
I wasn’t so sure in book one, but having read book 2…where’s my Team
Kyle T-shirt at? He is there for Lily
every step of the way, and is everything that an intense but loving alpha male
should be. The book is easy to read and
really sucked me in. There is a
storyline towards the end of the book that really got me…I’m only sad now that
I will have to wait until January to see where that leads. It’s creepy, but I really hope that it give
Kyle to opportunity to whoop some butt…that would be kind of awesome.
I really liked this book.
You really have to read book 1 to understand what is going on in this
one, but I think reading them back-to-back will only serve to make you
understand the story more deeply and really love the characters. 4 stars for me!
