The Punishment Due, By Justin Osborne

Garrett Mosely is facing a long and arduous prison sentence for his unspeakable crimes, but when a strange man pays him a visit in his cell, Garrett is given the chance to cleanse his soul at a terrible and fitting cost.

I’m not really sure what I should say about this book because I have complete mixed emotions about it.  While I really enjoyed this book, it was also very…. Twisted?
The book is very short, but it was the perfect length for the story.  In my opinion, if the story would have been longer it would have actually taken away from it.  Garrett’s character, even though he was a horrible person, and trust me he is, you can’t help but to feel sorry for him come the end of the book.
The only thing that I would recommend about this book is not to read it before you go to sleep.  Because trust me, it will give you some weird dreams!
