The 12 Days of Dennis, By Jude Dunn

 

When an unexpected package is delivered on December 14th, Martin is more than a little intrigued by the contents—especially as they're from his boyfriend, Dennis, and come with instructions to wear them when they go to dinner with Dennis' parents the following night.

And that's only the beginning of Dennis' suggestive gifts.

Everyone knows the 12 days of Christmas song.  But trust me, this was just hilarious to read and I couldn’t put it down once I started it.

In this short novella, we get to spend time with Martin as his boyfriend Dennis decides to do the 12 Days of Dennis this year.  I have yet to read a book that made me laugh so much, yet you could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the story.  I mean honestly, some of the stuff that was brought up for the Christmas gifts was just awesome.

A couple complaints that I had with the book was even though it was hilarious, at times it felt like there was too much going on.  And it felt like the story was a bit rushed to me as well.  I didn’t really understand what Dennis being a cross dresser had to do with the story, it felt like it was just thrown in there.

Overall, I think that if you are looking for a hilarious short read, and you enjoy the M/M genre you should check into this book.
