He's illegally harvested and claimed by Tah'Narian starship captain Keyno Shou. From the moment Keyno sees Dale, he knows he must claim the spirited human male for his own. What he doesn’t expect is a spitfire with a mind of his own—and a deadly disease that will require a risky procedure to cure.

This is a great Sci-fi book, The Harvest: Taken by M.A. Church and I am already looking forward to reading book 2.

The main love story is between young human, Dale, who feels safe that he is too young to be harvested by aliens according to the government policies on earth. When alien Keyno sets his sight on Dale, he knows he wants to harvest Dale and doesn't care about the age restrictions. So his plan is to illegally harvest Dale against everyone’s wishes.  Throughout the course of the harvest, there are willing and unwilling men that have been selected and at the beginning, Dale is very unwilling but that soon changes. Dale see's what an advantage it is to have the sexy and hot Keyno as his mating partner.

What I loved about this book is that it wasn't bogged down with a lot of sci-fi lingo but written as a beautiful love story between two races. It was so hot to see that Keyno is so over protective of Dale as his people are protectors and cherishes their partners with everything they have. I fell instantly for Keyno and how he was with Dale and it moved me a lot! I felt at times that Dale was bratty to the very patient Keyno and slowly Dale came around to care for Keyno. I felt this relationship completely worked! The hot sex scenes were so much fun to read, considering Dale was human and Keyno was alien with a tail! Even though Keyno was a complete top, Dale learned how to be a top where at the same time being the bottom....this reader is what you call a Power Bottom! 
 

I hope their love continues and that Dale loves Keyno for himself and they find a way to be together! I highly recommend this rare and very interesting Sci-Fi love story that was so beautifully written in such a sexual and heartfelt way!
