Worth the Wait, By Lori Toland

Inventor Henry Wallens accidentally made a time machine out of an old cell phone, and he’s decided it’s the perfect opportunity to make his life less lonely. He goes back in time and poses as his own uncle to try to make himself more outgoing… but when he runs into his old high school science teacher, Ryan, it’s his current—future—self who ends up changing to look forward instead of back.

A story from the Dreamspinner Press 2012 Daily Dose package "Time Is Eternity".

The old saying “Sometimes less is more” comes to mind when I think about this book.  It has nothing to do with the story itself, I think that it was done AMAZINGLY well, but it’s more about the length of the book.
This is a short quick read, but it’s a very good one in my opinion.  I completely loved the fact that Lori didn’t over do the book with excessive amounts of “fluff”.  All the important details needed for this book where put in there and that was it.

I think that this story is one that is great for the sci-fi readers just because of the main topic mentioned in this book, the time travel.  One main thing that I did enjoy about this book was the twist that happened at the end of the book.   I had my thoughts throughout it, but I have to say come the ending, I did not expect it at all.
Overall, I personally think that this is the best book of Lori’s that I have read!  And I do completely recommend it to anyone who reads these genres.
