This was a short but extremely satisfying read. *wink, wink* In it, we meet Katie, who is
recovering from the breakup of a relationship.
She’s swearing off men and relationships, though she really misses
having a dominant man in her life. She’s
just not willing to put her heart out there again. When Katie and Jonathan meet, the sparks
fly. Can they make it work, and each get
past their own issues, to find what they need and want in each other?
I was impressed that such a short story, about 60 pages,
could pack such a punch. It’s a pretty
touching and romantic read with a lot of hot and naughty sex in it, and somehow
all of that together really works. I
know I found myself really pulling for them from the beginning, hoping that it
all worked out. Also, for such a short
story, it doesn’t feel rushed. The
feelings between the two main characters seem to grow naturally. It’s not forced; it all just unfolds very
beautifully.
My one complaint about this book is that it just needed to
be more. I really want this to be a full
length novel. There’s so much there,
certainly there must be more in store for these two. Next book, please! 4 stars!
