This is a book that keeps you on
your toes the whole time. In the first scene we meet Dr. Jocelyn, a
veterinarian that has returned to her home town to complete 6 months of
community service work. She finds herself in a life or death situation that takes
her back to her high school years.
Caleb Davis was the man that broke
her heart and whose family ruined her family's reputation. But when it
comes to a child being involved in this there was no thinking about risking her
life twice. Caleb is an ex Air Force officer, widower and father of 4 children
that has been targeted by a man that wants him dead, no matter what. Jocelyn
finds herself falling in love not only with Caleb but with his beautiful
children and amazing family.
The author did an amazing job
describing not only each character but also describing the scenery. It made you
feel as if you were sitting at the ice cream parlor of Tuscany. I give this
book a 5 star rating and I can’t wait to read more about the Davis boys. I want
to know what happens to Mia and Tish. Do they all fall in love?? Can’t wait for
the next installment of this series!
