Every Part of You: Resists Me by Megan Hart

The dance has begun. Simone’s ready to follow all her desires, but reluctant Elliott isn’t ready to take the lead.After teasing Elliott into going dancing with her, Simone seduces him. She knows what she wants and isn’t afraid of asking for it, and Elliott appears to be as eager as she is to see where their passion takes them. The sex is electric, but Elliott is taken aback by his response to her, and when Simone reveals her kink for pain to him, he’s unable to accept it and tells her he doesn’t want to see her again.

And then they’re both invited to the same party.

Hummmmmmmmm, well I had read the first book in this series and had an understanding as to what was going to happen as we further progressed, but I feel let down a bit while reading this book.  Don’t get me wrong, I do love Simone’s character, but at the same time while reading this book I got the stalker vibe from her.

I do enjoy reading about a woman who will go after what she wants, but she was kinda taking it to the extreme a bit too much for me.  I really felt bad for Elliott during the course of the story, but I also still don’t like him that much either.

I can say that the smutty that takes place in this part of the series is really off the charts amazingly awesome!  I have to say that the author is able to write it in a way that it doesn’t come off as crude. (Which is a big thing for me and my smut reads.)

Overall, I would say that the twist at the ending of this book is what is going to keep me reading further into the series!
