 Tim Trujillo is about to learn a whole lot more than a few facts about his heritage as a snow leopard shifter.

All Dr Tim Trujillo had in mind when he took the position with the Snow Leopard Conservation Programme in Mongolia was to see if he could learn anything about his heritage. Snow leopard shifters sure weren’t native to Colorado, his home state, and though his family was learning more about shifters in general as various cousins found their mates, Tim wanted to know more about where his kind came from, and what made them the way they were.

He hadn’t counted on destiny intervening in the form of one very fine snow leopard shifter. Otto Marquat is a native to the Land of the Blue Sky, as Mongolia was sometimes called. But there in a country so far from his own, Tim finds more than his heritage. He finds adventure, cruelty, friendship, pain—and love so strong and unbreakable it will turn his world inside out.

I have really started to enjoy this series, and it seems like with each book I read, I enjoy it more and more. One thing that I did enjoy about this one is that Tim and Otto are halfway across the world from the rest of Tim’s family, so the story was more focused on them.

It was really cool to find out that yes, there are other shifters out there besides Tim’s family, which is what they had believed. To be able to learn more about the shifters, and their history from Otto’s family was awesome.

The author does a great job with all the characters in this story, even the secondary ones. There was enough information given about them that made it easy to follow who was who, and what relationship they had with each other. Each of the characters brought into the story had a purpose, they weren’t just thrown in there for no reason.

I do like how the author added the drama that takes place, because it just adds something extra to the story. It’s not just a story that is fully of sex, there is plenty more added to it that just kept me turning the pages. And trust me, there is plenty of action and suspense happening during the story that kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. I do enjoy how even though the sex that takes place in the story is written extremely well, it’s not rude, crude or socially unacceptable. That’s not the authors focus when it comes to her stories. They add plenty of other information to it.

I really can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I’m wondering what everyone is going to do with all the information that Tim and Otto have found from what they were dealing with.
