I absolutely LOVED this story until
about 80% through. The last few scenes were really hard for me to love because
they felt a bit unreal or overdramatic... BUT I will say I absolutely fell in
love with Hunter from the very first time we meet his sexy ass. Lorrie is a bit
meek for my normal tastes but the way she blossomed in Hunters hands just made
me melt.
Both have something they are hiding,
but both refuse to let their pasts get in the way of their friendship.. I'll
tell you I've never wanted a piece of freaking chocolate as much as I did in
one scene.. Once you read the book, you'll know which scene I'm talking
about.
While I thought this was going to be
a rugged and rough story, it was actually rather sweet and romantic and
touching. I can't WAIT for the conclusion of this story but I will say that I'm
happy it doesn't end with a cliffhanger and was wrapped up nicely.. doesn't
mean I don't want the rest!!!
