Adam's Fall by Liv Morris

Adam and Kathryn’s tantric love story continues once again told in his point of view…

When roguish playboy Adam Kingsley meets the stunning Tantra instructor Kathryn Delcour, he falls hard, becoming captivated by her strength and beauty. An intense sexual chemistry sizzles between them from their first shared glance to the soul cleansing Tantra session they experience together.

While Adam recovers from injuries after saving Kathryn’s life, she instructs him in the sensual practice of Tantra. He becomes her willing student as their tantric lovemaking brings Adam to sexual highs he never dreamed were possible.

But Adam’s life takes an unexpected turn when newly exposed secrets surrounding his birth father force him to make a seemingly impossible choice. Avenge those he loves and let everything he holds dear crumble around him, or allow the guilty to go free. With Kathryn by his side, Adam faces the fight of his life.

Adam's Fall is the concluding book in the Touch of Tantra series.

I LOVED Adam’s Apple, and was really excited to read where the sequel would take me.  The author does a very good job of exploring the central relationship in the book while at the same time presenting a romance with an interesting conflict.  Two thumbs up!
This book picks up right where Adam’s Apple left off.  Adam was shot and trying to recover as he deals with the after effects of the shooting.  He wants to protect Kathryn and keep his company afloat, and is having a difficult time admitting that he may not be in the best place to do so.  Will it all fall apart, or will Adam be able to keep Kathryn and his dreams alive?
I really liked this follow up to the original.  I’m always a little scared when I like a book a lot to read the follow up, but this one kept the same qualities that I loved so much in the first.
I love the characters in this book.  Kathryn is strong and comforting.  She anchors Adam when he needs it most, but doesn’t push him past his limits.  She just seems to have an innate sense when it comes to Adam and what he needs.   And Adam…he’s so much more vulnerable in this book, and I loved seeing that side of him.  Don’t get me wrong, I loved the cocky ass he was in the first, but seeing him open up was awesome.
Also, the connection between Adam and Kathryn is exactly what I look for in books like this.  Their connection and chemistry is palpable and addicting to read about.  It’s done really well and still manages to keep you on the edge a bit as to where they are headed.
I thought the mystery element to this story was interesting, and it really was a fresh take on a novel of this type. It’s just done really well.  While it does start off a bit more slowly than I would have liked, I enjoyed every page.  4.5 stars.
