When Dr. Cain Turner's
life was literally blown apart in a small province of Afghanistan, it
was only the hope and memories of one woman that propelled him forward.
But there were more demons to face.
In the small country hamlet of Paradise, Tennessee...Faith waits. Surrounded by her loving sisters, Faith McKinnon had faced her own demons, having thought that the love of her life had deserted her.
But fate...and a few meddling McKinnon sisters...conspired to bring the two star-crossed lovers together again.

I have read the
strictly erotica books by this author in the past, and so I was a bit curious
as to how they would do when it came to a Romance with only bits of erotica in
it. I’m glad to say that I was extremely happy and pleasantly surprised at how well
they were able to pull of this book.
The story begins
with Cain and Faith planning their wedding, and then the twist that leaves
Faith confused as to what is going to happen to her next. I believe that the
author did a great job with Faith and her dealing with the issues of Cain
ending their relationship. The pain that she was feeling was throughout the
story was very well written, it felt extremely lifelike.
The inner battle
that Cain was feeling was also very well written. As bad as this sounds, I enjoyed
watching the torture that he was going through during the course of the book
because it made the story that much better.
I can say that
the authors were still able to bring their style of smuttiness into the book,
because the sex scenes that take place were just well written. They were done
with no sense of crudeness whatsoever. They were done with style and elegance,
and added to the story just the right amount.
My only complaint
with the book would be the large amount of characters that were introduced. When
you go into the book, you do know that Faith has plenty of sisters, but it was
a bit overwhelming when they were all brought up and their love interests were
introduced as well.
Overall though, I
did completely enjoy this story and I really can’t wait for the next one in the
series to be released!
