A year after the body
swap that let brat Jayk and his dom, Amon, experience each other’s lives
for a day, the pair is ready to be married in a small, stress-free
ceremony. Things are going smoothly until they meet Jennifer and Ron
Gaines-Brake—a quarrelsome couple with a laundry list of troubles whose
wedding is at the same venue.
When Jayk and Amon are drawn into the other couple’s drama, their own doubts and fears about marriage start to surface. And when they accidentally switch bodies with Jennifer and Ron the day before the wedding, their simple, stress-free celebration starts looking more and more like a nightmare.
As the couples attempt to deal with each other’s families, secrets, and last minute wedding preparations, things spiral out of control. Add to the mix a missing cat, a vigilant police officer, an intimidating dildo, and a cake like no other, and it’s anybody’s guess whether the weekend will end in bells or bedlam.

While I enjoyed
the HECK out of Wacky Wednesday when I had read it last year, this one has it
beat by far! There were some parts of this story that just had me laughing out
loud, and other parts that had me seriously questioning the Ms. Rock’s sanity.
(In a completely good way I swear!)
This story starts
out a year after Wacky Wednesday and we get to spend some more time with Jayk
and Amon as they are planning their wedding. But of course, anything
having to do with these two isn’t as easy as it may seem. Once again they are
drawn into another body swap, only this time it’s with a heterosexual couple!
To be honest, I was a bit worried about how Ms. Rock was going to be able to
pull off a gay couple being trapped in a heterosexual couple’s bodies, but I
think that she did it insanely well.
One big thing
that I do love about these books, despite the awesome humor that Ms. Rock adds
to the story, is how there is a little lesson in the story. There is just that little
reminder of things to think about when you are in a long term relationship that
you might have forgotten over the years. Ms. Rock adds those lessons into the
story in a way that it’s not a direct smack in the fact, but you do pick up
what she is trying to tell you.
I did enjoy the
characters in the story a lot in this book. I personally feel like Jayk and
Amon were a lot more relaxed in this story because they had already been
through everything once before. We were able to learn more about those two
while reading and I felt as though we were able to better connect with them
since they were so calm.
I have mentioned
a few times about the humor that has been added into this story, well let me
give you some examples of what I’m talking about. Just enough to make you want
to read the story and find out more!

“Hey Jayk.
Welcome to your groomal bath.”
“Huh?”…
“The presents are in the bathroom.”
“Connor insisted on putting them in the actual tub.”

“If you don’t
promise ________, then I will revoke my consent for you to touch my cl*t.”
“By the moon and stars,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper. “Be reasonable.”
“But I wanted him to share in my cl*t joy, and possibly go down on me, because I’d decided in the last half hour that I could handle it, as long as we had a defibrillator on standby and I could wear a blindfold…”
Ok so you get what I mean about the crazy sense of humor?? I couldn’t get enough of this book and I will be re-reading it again in the future because it was so well done! While this is the second book in the series, you can read this one before Wacky Wednesday and still understand what is going on. But you should still read the first one!
