Moving on…
When Blaze got his dream job, he never imagined within a year he would be fired. After a botched performance with Cassie, he’s kicked off the tour — and so is his boyfriend Jason — but Blaze is determined to live his dream again and he may have found the perfect band to do it with.
He will stop at nothing to be back on stage, though the costs of stardom may bring an end to his romance with Jason. Can Blaze have it all? Or will Blaze have to leave his first love behind to follow his destiny?
What the heck?!?!?! I happened to
glance at the blurb before I started reading Into The Fire so I knew there was going to be a cliffhanger. But I
wasn’t expecting THAT as the cliffhanger. My freaking heart it hurting right
now. I can NOT believe you did this to me Ms. Toland! By the way, it’s the
summer of 2014, where’s Encore
because I need to read it NOW!!! I don’t want to wait to find out what happens
next.
Despite the fact that I want to go
all Misery on Ms. Toland and get my
hands on Encore, I think Into The Light may be my favorite book
in the series. I enjoyed how the departure from Cassie and her tour actually
strengthened Blaze and Jason’s relationship. As they spent more time together
and got to know one another better, their relationship deepened as they dealt
with homophobia in the music industry and struggled with defining their roles
within their relationship. And let’s not forget the sex. I really didn’t think
she could do it, but Ms. Toland made the sex scenes even hotter – if you can
believe it.
The struggles that Blaze and Jason
deal with took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and add to the realism of
the series. There is so much that goes on in Into The Fire that I was once again engrossed in the book. There is
just so much that I can’t say because of spoilers and I will not do that to
fans of the series. I NEED book four now! I. CAN. NOT. WAIT!!! I have to know
what happens to my boys, so please, please, please write quickly Ms. Toland.
