I have enjoyed the other books in this series, and this one wasn’t an exception.  Even though it is shorter than the other stories, I felt as though Ms. Lee was still able to bring in a lot of details and information into the story that made it feel as though we weren’t reading something on the shorter level.

We were introduced to both Brooke and Pete in the other books but this one was solely about them. I enjoyed how it wasn’t an instant love type book. Granted, there did seem to be a little like that in the beginning, but it was more of a “he knew what he wanted and he was going after it no matter what” type story.

Usually the back and forth that characters deal with in stories bugs me to no end, but with Brooke’s character, I really enjoyed how it all worked out for her. The story was one that kept my attention and had me hanging on each page, not wanting the story to end.

I really do hope that there will be more about Brooke and Pete in the future because they are such a great couple.
