As a small child Shawn
stood at his bedroom window staring above the tree line watching the odd
shooting lights in the nighttime sky. Remembering his mom’s comment
about making a wish upon a shooting star Shawn—there in the dead of
night—made a wish.
I have said it
before, I’m not usually a fan of Sci-Fi type books, but when I started this
series, I just fell in love with it! I
love how the aliens, are not your normal typical aliens. They have something about them that just
makes them stand out from all other alien books out there.
Even though this
is a shorter book, it was still packed with a bunch of information, action,
suspense, and smuttiness that will keep you on the edge of your seat! I loved how even though this is an “over the
years” story, it’s really not what you would expect. The story read through very quickly and
smoothly for me. The characters were
very well written, detailed to the right amount and not overboard. I suppose I
was hoping for a bit more drama, but this was still a great read.
I really did
enjoy this book and I really can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!
