A billionaire needs a baby or he will lose his company and fortune?  You had me at billionaire!
Liam Whitmore has just found out that in order to secure control of his family’s company, which is his life; he must produce an heir within a year.  What’s a man to do?  Well, go out and find the right baby mama to make that happen!  Enter Abby.  She determined to save her family’s ranch, so when Mr. Moneybags comes along with a solution that would not only save the ranch but give her a the baby she’s been craving, she takes the chance.  What neither of them counted on was the feelings involved with actually getting close and making the baby.  Not to mention someone who wants to sabotage the whole thing.
This book was an easy and fun read.  The writing style flowed and the dialogue was witty and entertaining.  I really liked Abby.  She was very down to earth and I really felt like she was a heroine that I could relate to and get behind.  Liam was a bit of a harder sell for me.  It took me a bit to really see through to his core and begin to understand him.  Once I did, I really liked him.
The plot of this book wasn’t anything I hadn’t read before, but I still found myself invested in it.  I think because it was written in such an easy style that I had no choice but to keep reading and see where the story lead.  Plus, the sex scenes were steamy and there was a great balance between plot and sex in this book, which is always an accomplishment for something that is considered erotica.
Overall, I have to say that I really enjoyed this book.  Perhaps not the most original read, but still fun and totally worth the time.  4 stars.
I just finished The Baby Contract and really enjoyed it. It's been a while where I have read something like this and it didn't disappoint.   Liam is all about business, especially his family business. His father has died and he finds out in his dad will that he has to produce and heir within 1 year or the family business will be given to Spencer his cousin to do what he wants with it.  He cannot let that happen so he goes to his mothers in home nurse Abigail for help. He couldn't think of anyone in his social circle that would do this with he least amount of expectations so he thinks he can get Abigail to accept.  She does to save her family's legacy.  What they didn't expect was two things. One is for unexpected forces that would try to stop them. Two was for their feelings to be taken from business to personal.  Will they be able to keep things professional and to stop those forces from achieving their goal?  You will have to read and see.
I really enjoyed the story. I loved the plot. Who doesn't love a guy needing to produce an heir and to keeps things unimportant then come to realize that you are so alone, to want things you could have ever imagined?!   That's how it is for Liam. He is very in control and job orientated so it was a pleasure to watch him fall!!  Abigail is such a lovely character.  All she wanted to do was save her family's home and never thinking she would have the chance to have her own baby. She is very strong and goal minded too but for different reasons. They really go head to head.  Their chemistry was hot and I love how it played out. To me it wasn't too quick. It was just right.
It's a very quick story but it packs a nice punch.  I would definitely recommend it to my girls!!
Olivia Starke calls the Ozarks home. One of the most beautiful areas in the country, she loves hiking trails with her dogs, kayaking on the numerous waterways, and enjoying southern Missouri's fresh air and sunshine.

She's also 'Mom' to four dogs, a growing number of kitties that show up at her door, and four VERY spoiled horses that do little to earn their keep. Not that she'd ever hold that against them.

She's a HUGE fangirl of Doctor Who and to a lesser extent Supernatural, and has a pretty interesting love triangle (or square?) going on in her head between the Doctor and the Winchesters.
