Mob
Mistress is book two in The Bossman Series by Renee Rose. These can be
read as stand-alone but the characters from book one do make an
appearance in book two so you will know parts of their story in reading
out of order.Ms. Rose has a good writing style. The scenes flow well and the transitions between H/h’s POVs is easy to follow. My only complaint really is that it sometimes feels rushed or like she had more to say, but held back — which could be because this is more a novella than a full-length novel. I love novellas, but when there are stories with a lot of twists and turns it can mean that the little details get missed along the way. It’s the nature of the beast, I suppose.
Bobby Manghini is a mobster. He likes his women submissive to his every desire and even though he takes good care of what’s his he doesn’t want more than a goomah. It’s convenient and keeps his sex life separate from his home life.
Lexi Tyler is down on her luck. Drowning in bills she finds herself considering a relationship with a man she would never have give the time of day. Is having a sugar daddy the solution to all of her problems or is it going to be too good to be true?
I really enjoyed this story. There is good chemistry between the characters and even though it’s insta-love there is enough development in the relationship that it doesn’t feel forced. The smutty parts are off the charts hot hot hot… and the spankings… more please!!
All in all, this is a three star read for me based on storyline and four wet panties for the smut factor. If you are looking for a good sexy book, this one is definitely for you. I’ll be looking forward to reading more from Renee Rose.

This is a pretty quick read with some very hot sex/bedroom
scenes. Even though it is Book #2 in the
author’s Bossman Series, it does well as a stand-alone.
Lexi is about to get evicted – from her apartment and her
job. In over her head with medical bills from a car accident, her best friend
suggests she look for a Sugar Daddy to pay for everything. Thinking she is
kidding, Lexi agrees to meet Bobby when Gina wants to introduce them.
Bobby works in construction, but uses his business to help
out the “Family”. His line of work and
the fact that he has a set of nineteen year old twin girls doesn’t allow him to
bring girls home. His last sugar baby didn’t work out, so he likes what he sees
when he meets Lexi.
After one hot round of sex, Bobby offers Lexi the
arrangement of her dreams. The only catch is that she has to be available to
him anytime, anyplace, and any way he wants.
The sex scenes are definitely HOT and the story is pretty
good. There is a lot of spanking in this book, which is Bobby’s kink. While
it’s not my thing, it did add to the couple’s relationship, creating conflict
and a catalyst to either move forward or end things.
While I enjoyed this book, it wasn’t a wow one for me.
