Red Phoenix is an award winning indie author who started her writing career in December of 2011. She is best known for her novelette, Brie’s First Day of Submissive Training, which was published in March of 2012. The little book created quite stir when it was released. Since then, fans have been riding the Brie wave with the sociable author. In October 2012, Red published the wildly popular eBook serial into novel form, Brie Learns the Art of Submission. She is currently writing Brie’s continuing journey in the serial titled After Graduation, due out in novel form September 2013.

“I am a happily married woman who believes, based on personal experience, that love conquers all. It is a running theme in my writing.” Red is a mother of three and wife to one. When she is not writing, you can find her on Facebook or Twitter interacting with fans.

A little one on one time with Mistress Red

How did you get the idea to write the Brie series?

Even as a young woman, I’ve been intrigued by Geishas and the fact they were taught the art of how to please men. I also love the rigors of college. I thought, How awesome would it be to learn to be a submissive in that environment? Only the best trainers of the different arts giving you a variety of experiences and then critiquing you so you can improve. A submissive’s dream…

Is it true that Brie was going to be a standalone, but you listened to your fans?

Absolutely! Brie’s First Day of Submissive Training was going to be just that, a simple short story. But so many people loved Brie and wanted to find out about her second day. So I wrote the second day thinking that would be it. However, my fans craved the third day. I thought, “Oh no, now what? There is no way I can write 36 days of Brie’s training.” I finished her first week with her warrior fantasy auction and switched to week-long training sessions.

What made you decide to publish your first book?

The desire to have people read my stories. Since I could not get a traditional publisher to invest in me, I decided to experiment with the self-publishing avenue - without any financial investment. I published Loving Amy and 100 people read it. OMG, I was in heaven! I wanted to discover what happened to the couple, so I continued their story and wrote 14 short stories that I complied into Sensual Erotica: The Erotic Love Story of Amy and Troy. That, my friends, is how history was made!

Even after the success you have had with the Brie series, is there any other genre that you have plans on writing about?

I have a pure romance (very little detailed sex) which is a fictional account of my courtship with my husband - back in the 80’s. I have currently published two of the books (Phoenix Rising & Phoenix Takes Flight) under the pen name Michelle Stevens and I plan to release the other two later this year. It is a personal journey of love, spirituality, courage and hope. 

Is there anything that you believe sets you apart from other writers?

I remain true to my muses and only write stories from my heart. When my muses stop guiding me, I will give up writing. I do not write for money, I do not write for fame. I write to tell the stories I am given. In the process I have gain incredible friends!

Do you relate to any of your characters?

I relate to most of my characters. Sure some are a more realistic representation of me personally, but most have some aspect of my personality in them. If I can’t stand behind the characters, I won’t take time to write their book.

Some writers say that when it comes to writing a story, they just give themselves over to the story.  Is that what you do in your writing?  (And by that I mean is Brie more bossy in your mind than she is on paper lol.)

I totally give myself over to the muses who speak to me. Brie is actually quite amiable, but her Doms are very demanding. Faelan and Sir are the most insistent. They will not let me stop until the story is done. Usually, when I write a series I skip to a new story in-between to keep things fresh, but not with the characters of the Submissive Training Center. It is all Brie all the way until I write The End.

Khan: Lasting Impressions (From Sir’s POV)

PART 2 of the Scene

Thane knocked on her apartment door exactly at six. He waited, feeling confident about the night he had arranged. He would facilitate a deeper level of submission, one in which she would experience the delicious taste of humiliation without demeaning her strong spirit. It was obvious by her fantasy it was something she desired despite her many protests.

When Brie opened the door to him, he was taken aback. Rachael had outdone herself in picking the outfit. The girl looked stunning. He entered her small apartment and introduced himself as Khan before commanding her to turn around.

She turned slowly for him, showing off the tight embrace of her dress. He did not miss the gold zipper down the front. It had been a requirement for the night’s events, however, the slit in the back of the outfit was far too modest. He pulled at the seams and ripped it until the slit almost reached the curve of her ass. He grabbed onto her buttocks and caressed them hungrily, remembering the feel of being buried deep within her.

Thane removed the lace panties she was wearing, irritated by the barrier. But in doing so, he caught a whiff of her scent and wavered in his resolve. “Face the wall,” he commanded.

Thane led her to the waiting limousine outside. Her subtle movements and rapid breaths announced her desire to be taken. How little she understood his respect for the scene she’d laid out. He would not stray from it. The King did not fuck the girl in her fantasy…

They pulled up to the warehouse where the fight was taking place. It was enjoyable to see Brie’s look of disbelief when she was confronted with the rundown building. Surprising her held a unique thrill—it was unsettling as much as it was intoxicating.

Thane took her inside, noting that Adams was already in place, selling tickets by the door as he had been instructed. They walked to the caged ring in the center of the huge warehouse where Maccio was already pummeling his rival.

Brie turned away in disgust.

“Watch your victor, girl,’ he commanded.

She obeyed without question and observed a quick end to the fight. Maccio left the ring and came towards them after Thane’s driver intercepted his path and directed him.

Thane felt Brie stiffen beside him as the victorious fighter approached with a lusty grin on his face. Maccio looked at him. “My prize?”

“Yes,” Thane answered, untying her wrists and commanding Brie to give the man the pleasure of her mouth. He saw the understanding in her eyes and the approval of his choice of male.

Brie sank to her knees and took in Maccio’s cock as an innocent would. However, the fighter was hyped up on adrenaline after the bout and handled her roughly. Brie took it with grace, moaning passionately for her victor. The sound of her pleasure sent Maccio over the edge and he pulled out, pushing Brie to the ground to fuck her.

Thane was incensed by Maccio’s aggressive handling—but to assume he could take her enraged Thane beyond reason. “No!” he shouted as he shoved the fighter off Brie. He helped her up and brushed off her knees, taking time to straighten her dress before turning to Maccio in disgust. “Never take more than you are offered.”

He left in order not to spoil Brie’s evening, but there would be an exchange later. Maccio would be held accountable for his disregard of the set parameters the two had agreed upon.

Thane was certain Adams would follow his lead without question. Not deviating from his plan, he informed Brie that she still needed to prove herself to her Khan and then nodded to the boy. Adams instantly put down his tickets to follow the couple.

He could tell by the way her eyes lit up that Brie appreciated the look of the blond with boyish features that he had chosen. It was going to prove an interesting night with the three of them playing out her scene together.

Thane felt Brie quiver, and he had to hold back his smile. She was like putty in his hands. Beautiful, sensuous, receptive…perfect.

Once inside the limo he directed Adams to the back, for he had plans of his own which had nothing to do with Brie’s fantasy.

This was his fantasy.
