So this book caught me completely off guard! Don’t get me
wrong, I have read the other books in the series, but WOW! This author has once
again completely blown me away by writing another book that is so jammed packed
with action, information, sex, and of course drama. And I can’t seem to get
enough of it!
During the course of this book, we get to know more about Ig,
Star, Sunny, Fen and their completely unusual relationship. And by unusual, I
do mean something that hasn’t happened during this series so far. While I do
think that compared to the other books in the series, this book has more sex
scenes for sure, but this is also about 2 separate couples. As opposed to the
other books that are about 1 couple.
One thing that I did enjoy about this book, more than the
others, is we are really told a lot of more information about the history of
the Chanku. With Ig being the spirit guide, we get to find out more from what
he has seen happen, and then their Goddess does make more appearances in this
story as well.
While this book was packed with a lot of information at
times, I did like how there was some instances that where touched on again that
have been brought up in the other books. I liked how the author added that
because it’s another way that that ties the series, as opposed to the
characters all being Chanku.
Overall, I did completely enjoy this book and I really can’t
wait for the next book in the series!
