The Bronze Blade by Elizabeth Hunter

"You may call me Tenzin, if you like."

A girl. A mother. A slave. A monster. A survivor. Descended into madness. Forged in fire and darkness, she became one of the fiercest warriors the immortal world had ever known.

But in the beginning, there was a girl.

THE BRONZE BLADE is a novella of approximately 100 pages.

WARNING: The Bronze Blade contains scenes of graphic violence and abuse, and is recommended for adult readers only.

I am a complete fan of this author and Elemental series that she has out. I will warn you right off the bat; it is not a pretty book. There are descriptions of rape that happen through the majority of it, but it’s done in a way that it adds to the story. The author doesn’t go into an overabundance of detail. All of the details that are mentioned in the book are there for a reason, and they are done in an extremely well written way.

If you were to read this book without reading the other books, I think it would grab your attention and make you want to read more. But I would personally recommend reading the other books first just so you can get a better understanding of Tenzin and why she is the way she is.

This story is one that will cause your heart to break, but in a good way.
