HER BEAUTY IS A WEAPON.
Denae
Lacroix is a beautiful MI5 agent on a deadly mission. Sent to the
Scottish Highlands to spy on the mysterious Dreagan Industries, she
discovers too late that she’s been set up—as human bait. She is an
irresistible lure for a man who has not seen or touched a woman for
centuries. He is a man with a destiny—and a desire—that could destroy
them both…
HIS PASSION IS A CURSE…
It’s been twelve hundred
years since Kellan has walked among humans—and there’s no denying the
erotically charged attraction he feels for Denae. But as a Dragon King,
he is sworn to protect his secrets. Yet the closer he gets to this
smart, ravishing woman, the more her life is in danger. All it takes is
one reckless kiss to unleash a flood of desire, the fury of dragons…and
the fiercest enemy of all.
While I am a
total paranormal junkie when it comes to my stories, there are not a lot of
dragon shifter authors that I enjoy. I can whole heartily say though Donna
Grant is by far my favorite when it comes to this genre.
Ms. Grant has
been able to create an entire world of dragons that is done so extremely well;
it has an insane life-like feeling towards it. With how many different
characters there are in the story, I was a bit worried about how crazy it would
be trying to keep everyone straight. But thankfully Ms. Grant was able to bring
everyone in, and still keep the story going to where I wasn’t confused about
what was going on.
In this part of
the series, we are introduced to Denae and Kellan and watch as yet again
another outsider is brought into the Dreagan Industries. I really enjoyed
Kellan’s character the most in this book because it was nice to have a
character in this series who actually doesn’t like humans! As strange as that
sounds, the other characters all seemed to be ok with humans and it was getting
a bit boring to be honest.
There is an
INSANE cliffhanger at the end of this story, but I’m so glad that the next part
is already out so that I can go ahead and get started on it right away!
