I’m not usually a
fan of vampire books, but there is just something about Ms. Morris’s books that
just draw me in. I consider myself very
lucky that I have been able to follow this series from book 1 until now! Each book just gets better and better as they
are released.
I will be honest,
I was a bit worried about how much I would enjoy this book because it is
shorter than the other books in the series, but I was completely caught off
guard with how in depth Ms. Morris went with the story. I didn’t feel as though there were any
details lacking in it, the characters were written very well and just the overall
plot was very well done. I did like how
we were able to go back in time and see what the Colony was like before
everyone started to find their loves.
One thing that I did
enjoy the most about this book was that you could really FEEL the love that
William and Jackie had. Even when they had first met, you could tell the
connection that they had, and it was one that was so detailed you couldn’t help
but root for them throughout the book.
I completely
LOVED this book and even though it’s the 3.5 book of the series, I think that
if you haven’t read this series yet, you should really give this one a chance!
