Clear Blue Sky by Jenna Byrnes
I can say with complete honesty, that this
story is the reason why I kept reading the bundle! Right off the bat it was full of action,
adventure, smuttiness, and it just kept me wanting to read more and more into
the other stories to see how great they were as well. I am not normally a fan of MC books, because
that isn’t something that appeals to me, but after reading Ms. Byrnes bikers, I
will be sure to start looking into her other books to see if she has anymore
hidden!
I really loved the characters, especially Sky. Even though he had been through something
horrible, he didn’t let it get him down too much. He was still willing to take the chance and
do something new – and it ended up working out rather well for him! I thought that Task was just the perfect man
for him. He was strong when Sky needed
him to be, and soft when he needed him to be as well.
This is one of those books where everything
that happened in it, was put there for a reason. There was no “filler” that kept the story
going. It was the story itself that
did.
I also will say that I hope Ms. Byrnes does
more with these two men because they have certainly stuck in my mind and I can’t
wait to catch up with them more!

This story was very … interesting.
I can say that I was caught completely off guard for a bit when things
were revealed, but besides that the story seemed very predictable. I thought that Rogue was a very strong
character, you could tell that he was most definitely in charge when it came to
what was happening. Orlando was a fun
character though. There was just
something about him that really made me want to know more about him, and see what
was going to happen to him as well.
I was also very interested in the relationship between Crow and
Shelton. I was hoping that we might find
out more about them, but when we didn’t, that did leave me with hopes for
another book in the series so we can learn about those two.
Overall, I did still enjoy this story and I will be sure to keep an eye
out for others in this hopeful series.

Right when I started this book I could tell that it was going to be a
slightly complicated and confusing story.
And it was. Don’t get me wrong, I
still enjoyed the story, but I had to focus more on what was going on so that I
didn’t lose track of what I had found out already, and what new information was
being given.
I loved Dylan’s character because even with everything that was/had
happened to him, he was still standing strong and had a great outlook on
life. He went into his new job with his
eyes open and wanted to do what was best for his friends. I thought that Zero was a jerk, but I have a
feeling he was written that way. When the *real* Zero started to come out, I
thought that it was a really smart move for Ms. Knight because it did make it
so that I wanted him to find his happiness as well.
With this book, I have a feeling that it would be a great starter to a
new series, and one that I will be sure to keep an eye open for in the future.
