#Throwback: The Long Con

British Agent Nathaniel Bradley is tasked with bringing home a stolen heirloom. After tracking the Faberge egg all the way to a group of criminals in New York, Bradley infiltrates a ring of con artists and gets sucked into the role of a high priced prostitute.

While hoping for a chance to take back what is rightfully his, Bradley's sole mission becomes to seduce Tony Terranova, Jr, the heir to a notorious mafia dynasty. Though Tony is strikingly handsome, the usually dominant Bradley is hesitant to submit to the sexual whims of a dangerous Mafioso.

What Bradley doesn't expect is for Tony to fall to his knees so eagerly for him, leaving him blindsided by how intensely their dark tastes complement each other. Now Bradley is caught up in a deadly game of lies and desire, where what he truly wants may not be what duty requires.

Note: This book contains explicit sexual situations, graphic language, and material that some readers may find objectionable: BDSM elements, male/male sexual practices, spanking.

Nathaniel Bradley works for SOCA, an English government operation that among other things brings down criminal rings in England and Wales. On a late Tuesday night he receives a call from his Grandfather, the man who raised him that a priceless heirloom has been stolen out of the family home, six months later Bradley finally has tracked it down to NYC.  Tony is the son of a Mafia boss, and is Bradley mark for the evening, it’s his job to act like a hustler and seduce Tony so two of the other con people that Bradley has managed to get hooked up with can set up the buy for the ‘egg’.  Tony has made it known that he is interested in buying any Russian Art, to remind him of his mother and his heritage.  The con people believe that the egg is a fake but Bradley knows that it’s the real deal. What Bradley and Tony didn’t figure into this con was falling in love.

So this was an action packed, highly sexual tale with lots of twist that keeps you guessing the entire way until the end. Love the insta- chemistry between Bradley and Tony. The turmoil within the Con artists, even Bradley’s handler it just all worked. I liked the fact that both MC’s had jobs and lives they couldn’t just leave so just moving in, either in the UK or USA and having an insta – HEA was off the books.  Just a great lazing Sunday afternoon read.  Well done!
